As a matter of fact, I have never met anyone who lost weight while eating everything in sight and exercising regularly. Even if you have a fitness routine, you still have to have some boundaries. Healthy is a simple factor of weight loss. It requires only minor mathematical skills and self-control. You have to be able to say no to certain foods and decide when it’s okay to let yourself have a richer snack. The first step towards healthy is counting calories. If you are on a 2,000 calorie diet, be sure to include all daily beverages into that number. Consume plenty of fruit and vegetables as they provide our bodies with roughage and with

fiber. Fiber helps you feel full longer and it aids in metabolic activity; whereas, roughage is vital for waste removal. You should replace all of your refined grain products with whole grains. It’s an easy transition and food tastes exactly the same. Your next step is protein. Consume fish two days a week and beans one day a week. For the remainder of the week, buy only lean, skinless meats. As far as dairy is concerned, always buy low fat alternatives. Everything from yogurt to butter is available with fewer calories and a lower percent of milk fat. You should stay away from fired foods, fast foods and sodas. Last but certainly not least, choose your snacks wisely.
